Wood tarp pole

I made a classical tarp pole that matches the texture of cotton.
 Engrave a pattern on white ash, along with the dull brilliance of brass.

 CAMP on PARADE aims to be a camp where you can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with a little classic and a little vintage.
 This tarp pole was inspired by the pole that came with an old tent (vintage is awkward) from England.
 It is processed at the woodworking workshop in Hachioji.

 I don't like a mere round stick. The woodworking lathe technology responded to that desire. And this classic feel doesn't go well with the usual stainless steel splices. It's been around for a long time, but brass is definitely a good choice. But what about the strength?
 Wood thickness, brass thickness. I tried several ways and found the right combination.
 The drawback of wood tarp poles is that on rainy days the wood swells with moisture and cannot be pulled out. For the joints, we use a technique called wood hardening so that it does not easily expand even if it contains water. As a result, expansion due to the inclusion of water is suppressed.

 The 270 cm long one consists of three parts 90 cm long.
 The 240 cm long one consists of three parts with a length of 80 cm.
 The 180 cm long one consists of two parts 90 cm long.
 The 160 cm long one consists of two parts, 80 cm long.
